LightSheer Diode Laser
Laser Hair Removal
The LightSheer Diode Laser is a state-of-the-art
hair removal system designed to effectively and
reliably remove unwanted hair from your body,
including the face, neck, underarms, bikini area,
back, chest, arms, etc. None of the
discomfort associated with plucking, shaving, waxing, chemical depilatories or
electrolysis is experienced and it is available to men and women alike.
How does the laser work? A highly concentrated
beam of light is emitted by the LightSheer Laser,
which is well absorbed by the follicle’s
pigment. During the procedure, lasers pulse
for a fraction of a second, heating multiple follicles,
thus impeding their re-growth. LightSheer
advantageously treats larger areas of the body
quickly and effectively without harming sensitive
skin areas. Hair grows in cycles, thus 2
to 7 treatments,
4 to 8 weeks apart, are recommended to achieve
desired results.
The pulse strength is constantly adjusting, keeping
you optimally comfortable. Some redness and
swelling around the follicle area is expected and
desired,

activity and make-up
application may be resumed immediately.

IPL – Photorejuvenation
What is Intense Pulsed Light?
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology is a corrective
treatment breakthrough that can treat a variety
of benign skin imperfections. Typically, the effects
of photoaging and skin damage are most visible on the face and body, making skin
appear older. IPL is a safe, noninvasive solution for your skin type, providing
superior cosmetic results and satisfaction. IPL is particularly effective
on age spots of the face, hands, & arms, mottled pigmentation of the face,
neck & chest, and Rosacea and broken capillaries on the nose and cheeks.
IPL is quick and easy. Cold gel is applied
to the treatment area; then a small, smooth glass
surface is gently placed on your skin. Pulsed
light is applied and a slight sting may be felt. To
avoid discomfort, an anesthetic cream may be applied.
Optimally, a series of 5 treatments is recommended
for maximum satisfaction and minimal side effects. This
may be shortened with the use of a topical photo
sensitizing agent. Gradual improvement and very
low risk, preserving “down time” is
advantageous. Initially, a slight reddening
and/or swelling may occur, however, same day regular
activities may be resumed, and make-up applied
following treatment.
Leg veins that are unsightly, small, red and/or
larger, blue-black spider veins can be treated
simply, non invasively and successfully.
Laser Vein Reduction is achieved by using IPL
and the Nd: YAG1064 Laser where veins respond to
the precise energy level and light wavelength. The
laser’s small point travels through the skin,
being immediately absorbed by the vein’s
blood. Heat destroys the function of the
vein without affecting surrounding tissue, and
in time, the vein is absorbed by the body, disappearing
from sight.
Over several months, 2 to 5 treatments will achieve
desired results, however, it may take 8 weeks for
the “staining” and “bruising” to
resolve.
To minimize discomfort for this brief procedure,
a chilled gel is used. No needles are used
and the procedure may feel similar to the sting
of a snapped rubber band.
